Here are some of our designer's Fashion Forward picks for 2009 and they are all in stock.

International Market, High Point, NC (summer ’09)

These trends are forecasts from European Markets in January.

NATURE. Everything focuses on nature; color, movement, environment and how it relates back to and with nature. Butterflies are swarming the market!

Textures – create volume in layering, molded, folded, eyelash and netting.

Styles – classics. Wools and flannels. Art Deco Influence will be seen.

Technology – Chalkboard & metallic fabric made into roller shades! Removable solar film for windows that is die cut into fashionable patterns. Functional living is the trend.

Hardware – the color “mushroom” will be the new bronze. Painted enamels, glass rods & finials and magnetic & wire tie-back solutions.


Colors – Neutrals: skin & powder tones. Jewel tones: Rich magenta, sapphire and emeralds. Blues: royals paired with golds, black under-toned blues are prominent. Reds: changes from apple red to reds either with orange or blue under-tones (bricks & burgundies). Greens: All are good! Newest up and coming green…Shamrock green. Pair with any shade of purple. Purple: Any! Cool to dusty &/or vibrant. Use it on your outdoor furniture paired with citron yellow & lime. Amazing!
